This product was developed in conjunction with R&DE(E), Pune to distribute AC and DC power off grid to the remote places where power distribution is ultimately not feasible. For this we use solar panels, inverter, battery and SMPS. Compactness and mobility was taken into consideration to allow easy transport of the unit and storage. This system is of higher power rating and thus uses 9 solar panels that are mounted on a collapsible grid of 3x3 which is mounted on a tilt table. When deployed, all 9 solar panels are exposed to the sun and whilst collapsed, they lay at the side of the system making it compact and easy to move. All of the components used in this product are high-industrial grade to military grade standard thus making the product as a whole robust. The structure for this product were made of aluminium to reduce weight while not compromising on the strength. The components were selected so that they can work on the most remote locations and at higher altitudes and still provide the necessary power after deration.
